Liquid Eyeliner:
For the natural look of our model Filippa, look straight in the mirror. To avoid wobbling during application, it's a good idea to prop your elbow up when applying make-up. Place the eyeliner pen in the middle of the iris close to the lash line for the most natural finish and the width of the eyeliner can be adjusted as desired. Now comes the make-up trick: First, draw the eyeliner from the center of the lid to the corner of the eye with light to hardly any pressure - pause briefly. Then place the wing in or slightly above the crease at the corner of your eye and pull it slightly towards your eyebrow to create a wing. Voilà!
Mini DAY Mascara:
Lashes should always be brushed from the lash line upwards so that the color payoff is greatest at the lash line. Place the brush of the DAY Mascara on the lower edge of the lashes and then apply mascara in small zigzag movements upwards towards the tip of the lashes. This creates more volume and curl and does not weigh down the length of the lashes. The movement also ensures that every single lash is covered with color all around and is nicely separated.
TIP: Pumping the mascara brush up and down quickly can dry out the mascara more quickly because too much air gets into the bottle using this technique. It is better to turn the brush in the bottle in one direction before pulling it out, as this distributes the mascara evenly on the bristles and avoids “pumping” air or bacteria into the bottle unnecessarily.
Soft Shape Lip Liner:
Step 1: Define: Press your lips together to form a straight line between the lips. Draw a line slightly outside the natural lip contour in the middle of the upper and lower lip. Intensify the lower lip contour to create an additional volume effect. Make sure that the lip curve is not too pointed and that the shape always remains soft and rounded.
Step 2: Connect: Then trace the side lines of your lip exactly on your natural lip line, avoiding the outer corners. This will make the entire lip area appear fuller.
Step 3: Fill in & blend: Lightly fill in your lips with the lip liner from the outer edges to the center of your lips. Then blend the color with a brush or your fingers for a natural, softly defined look without covering too much of your natural lip color. Note: The integrated lip brush is coated with a protective layer. Break the protective layer before first use by applying light pressure for gentle blending.
Lipstick:
For plump lips and precise contours, apply the color directly to the lips with the lipstick.
